Do You Go To Church?
For most of you, that isn't a difficult question. However, I don't mean do you ever go - I mean do you always go. I think one of the saddest things in our society today is the amount of people who are not in church on a regular basis. Now, you say, what is a regular basis. Let's put it this way - If you belong to a church and they are having a service, be there. It's as simple as that. If you don't belong to a church, find one and start attending any time the doors are open. There was a time last year when I was participating in a church activity four times a week or more - every week. My wife was attending at least five times a week. That's going to church. What in your life is better or more important that your relationship with God? Sleep...friends...TV...I certainly hope none of these are hindering your church time. When it all comes down to it, are you going to tell God you were too tired for church or that some wonderful TV program was on? If there is any possible way to be in church, be there. Some people have the excuse of working. Not to be too blunt or bold, but I would find a new job. Nothing, I repeat NOTHING should stand between you and God. Attend church, attend Sunday School, attend weekday services, and get involved in the church in any way that you can. It is the most important thing that you can do with your time. Why does man exist? To be in fellowship with God and to spread the gospel - that is your purpose in life.
